Walk for Truth reaches Parliament House
The final steps of an interstate truth-telling journey have reached Parliament House in Canberra.
Led by Kerrupmara and Gunditjmara man Travis Lovett, the national “Walk For Truth” from Victorian Parliament in Melbourne to the nation’s capital has taken 39 days.
Hundreds of supporters welcomed Lovett as he handed over demands from First Nations people directly to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
