Donald Trump knew he would have to ‘spend some political capital’ from the Iran war

Chairman of Republicans Overseas UK Greg Swenson says there’s “not a lot of support” for the Iran war.

Mr Swenson told Sky News host Danica De Giorgio that US President Donald Trump “took the high road” on the issue.

“Because he knows that he had to spend some political capital here.”
