Ukraine has executed its largest aerial assault on Moscow in over a year, deploying nearly 600 drones across 15 Russian regions to strike oil refineries, weapons warehouses, and a Black Sea naval base. The attacks killed at least three people and targeted heavily defended oil facilities 500 kilometres behind the front line. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the strikes as justified retaliation for a Russian attack on Kyiv that killed 24 people, promising continued long-range drone operations as the war enters its fifth year.
