Xi Jinping is ‘trying to test’ Donald Trump

Former Australian ambassador to the United States Arthur Sinodinos says Chinese President Xi Jinping is “trying to test” US President Donald Trump.

Mr Sinodinos told Sky News Australia that Xi Jinping wants to see where Donald Trump “really stands”.

“I think the president didn’t give anything away.”
