Trump considers lifting sanctions on Chinese refineries buying Iranian oil
US President Donald Trump says he is weighing up whether to lift sanctions on Chinese refineries that buy oil from Iran.
In April, the United States put restrictions on a number of Chinese companies for sourcing Iranian oil, which China’s Ministry of Commerce blocked.
Four Hong Kong-based operations were added to the ban less than a week ago.
