Australians aboard a cruise ship affected by COVID-19 have returned to Perth after more than 45 days, landing at Pearce Air Base before being transported to a quarantine facility in Bullsbrook for a mandatory three-week isolation period. Coles faces a potential class action lawsuit seeking compensation for millions of Flybuys members who purchased products under the misleading ‘down down’ pricing campaign during 2022-23. Lucas Martens de Silva has been sentenced to four years in jail for the death of award-winning author and UWA professor Brenda Walker, whom he struck while speeding at nearly 100 kilometres per hour in a 60 zone near Kings Park.
