The inquest into the death of Clare Nowland has concluded, with expert testimony stating the 95-year-old dementia patient should have been left to calm down rather than being tasered. Nowland died in May 2023 after being tasered by former police officer Kristian White at her Cooma nursing home in southern New South Wales. The coroner is expected to deliver findings in the coming months.
