‘It really is a joke’: Budget tax changes blamed for 35,000 fewer homes across Australia

Shadow Assistant Treasurer Kevin Hogan believes the government’s latest Budget tax measures will worsen Australia’s housing shortage and slash future home construction.

“It really is a joke,” Mr Hogan told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“Because of the tax decisions made tonight, there are going to be 35,000 less homes built in Australia.”
