Cruise ship docks in Tenerife amid deadly Hondavirus outbreak
The cruise ship NV Honduras has docked at the Spanish island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands following a Hondavirus outbreak onboard.
Spanish authorities confirmed the docking, with medics on standby to manage the evacuation of passengers and crew members.
A security perimeter of one nautical mile has been enforced around the ship to prevent the spread of the rare virus during the complex evacuation operation.
