Donald Trump deems Iran’s 14-point peace proposal unacceptable as war reaches tipping point
US President Donald Trump has reportedly deemed Iran’s 14-point peace plan unacceptable as negotiations for an end to the war continue.
Iranian state-linked media claimed they received a response from the US to the proposal and that it was being reviewed, according to Tasnim news agency.
Despite the reporting out of Iran, on Sunday, President Trump revealed the plan was unacceptable during an interview with Israel’s Kan News.
President Trump has yet to comment on whether the deal will be accepted, modified or outright rejected.
On Sunday, following the release of the peace plan, Trump announced he would “soon be reviewing the plan”.
