Japan’s PM arrives in Australia for key talks with Albanese
Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has arrived in Australia for her first official visit since taking office.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will meet the Japanese leader at Parliament House on Monday for the Australia–Japan annual leaders’ meeting.
This year marks 50 years since the Basic Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation was signed between Japan and Australia.
