US oil companies heading to Venezuela
US oil companies are heading to Venezuela 100 days after the removal of President Nicolas Maduro.
Hunt Oil and Crossover Energy signed exploration deals with Acting President Delcy Rodriguez earlier this week, while giants like Exxon Mobil and ConocoPhillips have sent in technical teams.
The deals follow the re-establishment of direct US air service to Venezuela and the reopening of the US embassy in Caracas.
