Israeli forces intercepted flotilla ships off Crete bound for Gaza, releasing six Australian activists from among more than 100 people detained. Three Australians were hospitalised after claiming they experienced violence and mistreatment by the Israeli Defence Force. Two activists identified as movement leaders remain detained on a prison ship believed to be heading to Israel, while consular officials provide assistance in Crete.
