ISIS brides turned back from Australia

Four so-called ISIS brides and their nine children have been turned back in their latest attempt to return to Australia, after Syrian authorities intervened before they could reach Damascus airport.

The group, which includes four Australian women and nine children, were reportedly issued passports and had flights arranged but were prevented from boarding by Syrian officials who claim Australia refused to receive them.

This marks the second failed attempt by the cohort to return to the country from the Al-Roj detention camp, where they have been held following the collapse of ISIS. #syria #damascus #airport #australia #detention
