Policymakers trying to ‘force’ people to by EVs with tax break schemes

MacroBusiness Chief Economist Leith van Onselen says policymakers are trying to force people into buying EVs.

“This whole drive towards EV should be driven by the market, and it should be driven by consumer preference, not by policy makers,” Mr van Onselen told Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“Policymakers are trying to force us into buying EVs.”
