‘They weren’t there’: Donald Trump brutally calls out NATO for abandoning the US in Iran
US President Donald Trump has called out NATO for its lack of action on both the Iran and Ukraine wars.
“I was very disappointed with the fact when we called on them to give us a little hand – we didn’t need it. I actually did it just to see whether or not they’d be there,” he said.
“We called on NATO to give us a hand with Ukraine, and in particular, the most recent.
“On Ukraine, they’re very much involved, but they didn’t do things the way we would like to see … and on Iran, they weren’t there.”
