Jimmy Kimmel blasted for refusing to apologise over vile Melania ‘widow’ joke

Host of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, Jimmy Kimmel, has refused to apologise for his controversial joke about First Lady Melania Trump.

During a White House Correspondents Association Dinner parody last Thursday, Kimmel claimed Melania had a “glow like an expectant widow”.

Kimmel’s joke came only days before a third assassination attempt on US President Donald Trump’s life at the actual WHCA dinner.

The host responded to the outrage on Monday, arguing he was joking about the age gap between Melania and Donald and not making a “call to assassination”.

“Obviously, it was a joke about their age difference and the look of joy we see on her face every time they’re together. It was a very light roast joke about the fact that he’s almost 80 and she’s younger than I am,” Kimmel said.
