‘Violence has no place in civic life’: More details revealed about recent Trump shooting
Acting US Attorney General Todd Blanche has provided an update following the shooting which occurred over the weekend at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
“I want to make this clear, this man was a floor above the ballroom with hundreds of federal agents between him and the President of the United States,” he said.
“Violence has no place in civic life.
“We are investigating this matter fully, we will apply the law fairly, and we will ensure that accountability is swift and certain.”
Mr Blanche revealed the Department of Justice filed three federal charges in the United States District Court against Cole Tomas Allen – the shooter suspect from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
