The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has accused Woolies of misleading customers by using fake discounts on hundreds of items as part of its “Prices Dropped” marketing program.
The case is almost identical to one against Coles, which has already gone to trial and is awaiting a highly anticipated judgment.
