Pathetic Starmer embarrassed as British MPs erupt into laughter over Mandelson scandal address
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has been put in his place after the House of Commons erupted into laughter when discussing the appointment of Labour politician Peter Mandelson as envoy to Washington.
Starmer has been embattled by Mandelson’s links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, facing multiple calls to resign.
The prime minister admitted that Mandelson’s appointment was wrong, but also tried on multiple occasions to pass responsibility for the blunder off to the Foreign Office.
Starmer also spoke about how Mandelson bypassed the heavy vetting that the UK envoy to Washington would usually undergo.
