There has been an explosion in diagnoses for adult ADHD in Australia, and Four Corners has mapped the geographical distribution of prescriptions for ADHD medication.
Dr Norman Swan says it’s more affluent, educated areas which are potentially overdiagnosed with ADHD, while less affluent areas demonstrate signs of underdiagnosis.
