Trump declares he has successfully convinced China to not give weapons to Iran
US President Donald Trump has asserted that China will not give Iran weapons amid the ongoing war in Iran.
Trump’s comments came during a FOX Business interview with host Maria Bartiromo.
The president said he wrote a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping asking him not to hand over weapons to the Iranian regime.
Trump also announced on Truth Social that China is “very happy” that he is “permanently” opening the Strait of Hormuz.
The president then hilariously wrote that Xi will give him a “big, fat, hug” when he visits China in the coming weeks.
