NASA’s Artemis II mission aims for permanent moon base
CSIRO Education Officer Rhianna Lyons states the aim of the Artemis II mission is to set up a “permanent” research facility on the moon.
“It’s the first time that we’re sending people back to the moon since Apollo in the 1970s,” Ms Lyons told Sky News Australia.
“Artemis II, specifically, will be testing a bunch of different instrumentations, doing over 100 different experiments.”
