Former newsreader wins 15-year battle against ATO | 7NEWS

Former Melbourne newsreader Simone Semmens has been cleared of all fraud charges after a 15-year legal battle with the Australian Tax Office. Semmens was jailed in 2019 after the ATO claimed she owed $1.7 million in property taxes. The 1990s television personality successfully won the case while representing herself in court.
