Three US soldiers killed in Iran attacks
Three US soldiers have been killed at an army unit in Kuwait, as Iran launches a fresh wave of retaliatory strikes following the death of its supreme leader.
A temporary leadership council has been appointed in Tehran, with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian among three figures set to act as the supreme leader until a successor is chosen.
US President Donald Trump claims 48 Iranian leaders have been killed in strikes so far, while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is promising even stronger action.
