Horror Newspoll leaves Opposition ‘no longer viable’

Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson reacts to the latest Newspoll with a “broken heart” as the Coalition’s primary vote falls to a record low.

“When I won that seat from Labor, I needed to win with a primary vote of 46 per cent. We are sitting at 18 per cent,” Ms Henderson told Sky News Australia.

“We’re no longer a viable opposition … we are losing the faith of the Australian people.”
