Anthony Albanese greeted with grand ceremony in Jakarta
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has arrived at Jakarta’s presidential palace, where he was greeted by a grand ceremonial welcome.
Mr Albanese is in Indonesia to sign a historic security agreement between Australia and Indonesia.
There are no expenses being spared for this welcoming party.
Behind all the ceremonial welcome is the signing of what Prime Minister Albanese believes is a watershed security agreement to bring Australia and Indonesia closer together and to align their thinking when it comes to the many challenges they face when it comes to regional security.
