David Littleproud grilled following Coalition split over hate speech laws

Nationals leader David Littleproud has been grilled over reports he told Opposition Leader Sussan Ley to resign in a heated phone conversation.

“I’m not going to get into this delusional petty games, this is just nonsense,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.

“I’m not going to get into games about conversations of any nature, both private and ones where others, my colleagues, have been there.”

Mr Littleproud’s comments come after a tumultuous week in politics, which led to the dramatic split of the Coalition.
