Donald Trump suspends visas for 75 countries
Immigration advisors are speaking out after US President Donald Trump suspended visas for 75 countries.
One advisor says suspensions should be done on a case-by-case basis, not by targeting people’s country of origin.
Suspended countries include Iran, Iraq, Russia, Fiji and Macedonia.
The Department of State says the freeze will remain active as long as it takes to ensure migrants aren’t using social welfare services.
The new policy does not impact student and tourism visas.
