Study reveals Australians struggle with detecting AI images
How well do you think you can spot an AI-generated image?
A new CommBank survey has found Australians are only able to correctly distinguish between real and AI images 42 per cent of the time.
This could mean that more Australians are at risk of being involved in a deepfake scam.
The same survey revealed that 27 per cent say they came across a deepfake scam in the last year.
James Roberts from CBA Group said that if you think you have encountered a scam, you should “be calm, breathe and consider it”.
