US on edge after ICE agent shoots 37-year-old woman dead

The woman who was shot dead by an ICE agent in Minnesota has been named as Renee Nicole Good.
Ms Good, a 37-year-old poet, was named by her mother Donna Ganger, in an interview with the Minnesota Star Tribune.
“That’s so stupid,” Ms Ganger told the publication of her daughter’s death. “She was probably terrified.”
The woman, 37, was allegedly “attempting to run over our law enforcement officers” when the officer shot her in her vehicle, Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said.
However, the city’s mayor, Jacob Frey, called the government’s claim that agents were acting in self-defence “bulls***”.
Shocking video footage shared on social media purportedly shows the moment agents approached the woman’s Honda SUV, which was apparently blocking unmarked law enforcement vehicles on the street.
As one of the agents tried to open the door to the car, the woman reversed the vehicle before driving forward, where another agent appeared to be standing. The agent moved of the way before he fired shots at the car, the video shows.
“Oh my f***ing god! What the f**k?” a woman is heard screaming in the background of the video footage.
Another clip shows the woman’s car crashing into a parked car on the street.
