Western Japan struck by 6.2 magnitude earthquake
A magnitude 6.2 earthquake has struck Japan’s west, and the epicentre was recorded in the eastern part of the Shimane region.
Bullet train services between Osaka and Hakata have been suspended following the quake.
There have been no immediate reports of injuries or damage to property.
