Teenagers as young as 14 and 15 were among those who died in the New Year’s Eve bar fire that killed 40 people in Switzerland, police said on Sunday (January 4), as many still wait to hear from their loved ones. Olivia Zollino reports.
Police said teenagers as young as 14 and 15 years old were among the victims, while hundreds were injured, including many with severe burns, in what has become one of the worst disasters in recent Swiss history.
The Swiss government said on Sunday that dozens of patients have been transferred to specialized clinics in Belgium, France, Germany, and Italy.
Many of the victims remain unidentified.
