Australia’s ‘revolutionary’ combat support facilities

Former Home Affairs Secretary Mike Pezzullo explains how the AUKUS deal will be revolutionary to Australia.

“That typically has not been at the centre of Australian Policy. In fact, it’s been contrary to Australian policy,” Mr Pezzullo told Sky News Australia.

“What is more important is access to things like sterling for the Virginia Class American submarines that are coming in 2027, the bomber facilities that are going into the Northern Territory and other combat support facilities.”
