More than 1000 killed as worst flooding in years hits Asia | Ukrainian negotiators meet US officials
Monsoons intensified by tropical storms continue to cause some of the worst flooding in years across Asia. More than one thousand people are now dead and millions across the region are impacted. Relief efforts for tens of thousands of people continue across Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia where three separate weather systems are at play. Cyclone Senyar has devastated Indonesia. The death toll rose to 502 with just as many feared missing under landslides.
