Air traffic control audio has captured the moment a crew member can be heard screaming “we’re going to die” as a $2.8 million private jet plummeted vertically, crashing into a South Florida mobile home park.
All nine people on board have died, according to AFP, while fatalities and injuries on the ground remain unknown.
The aircraft, believed to be a Learjet 60, had departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas en route to the Bahamas before disaster struck over Palm Beach County.
