70,000 security forces deployed in France ahead of further protests
Authorities in France are preparing for further protests this weekend.
Around 70,000 members of the security forces have been mobilised in response to the violence seen on the streets of multiple French cities last week.
The security services are estimating between 300,000 and 400,000 people to turn out for this weekend’s demonstrations.
