National house prices rise 1.1 per cent in October
New data has shown national house values have jumped 6.1 per cent over the year.
A report from Cotality shows house prices grew 1.1 per cent in October itself, with auctions hitting records over Spring.
All capital cities saw price rises, with Perth leading the gains, followed closely by Brisbane.
Analysts say property prices will only continue to go up as more buyers compete for limited housing stock.
