‘Desperation with a whiff of hypocrisy’: Meghan Markle ridiculed over pricey candles

Sky News host James Macpherson has commented on Meghan Markle launching a new Christmas candle as part of her lifestyle brand As Ever’s holiday collection.

“I’m trying to get my head around a candle that feels like a hug. If the candle you’re burning starts to feel like a hug, you should probably roll on the ground,” he said.

“It smells to me more like desperation with a whiff of hypocrisy.”
