The recruitment campaign for the Australian Antarctic Program’s 2026/27 season is officially open for roles including electricians, carpenters, mechanics and chefs as well as specialists in science aviation and IT.
Casey Station’s leader, Andy Warton, says applicants are put through a rigorous application process, including pyschological evaluation as the roles involve isolation and interaction with a relatively small number of people.
