Search for missing bushwalker in Tasmania’s Mt Field National Park amid heavy snowfall | ABC NEWS
Daryl Fong, 30, had been hiking in Mount Field National Park north-west of Hobart at the weekend when he contacted a friend to say he would seek shelter and camp in the park overnight.
Police said they were notified on Monday afternoon that Mr Fong had not returned from the park, and rescue crews and a rescue helicopter were deployed that afternoon.
