Marco Rubio hits out at world leaders for their ‘idiotic’ Palestine recognition

Sky News host Rowan Dean blasts the “idiotic foolishness” of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Minister Penny Wong for their recognition of Palestine, which was “totally irrelevant to the main game”.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio commented on the world leaders’ “idiotic recognition plan”.

“Albanese and Wong and their lefty mates decided to stumble all over the world stage, flaunting their undergraduate neo-Marxist credentials by recognising a Palestinian state that does not … exist,” Mr Dean said.

“It may well have cost lives and prolonged the suffering of all involved in the Gaza conflict.”
