Growing uncertainty over the government’s power to block Nidal Hasan’s execution livestream
Assistant Multicultural Affairs Minster Julian Hill expresses his concern over the fact Australians may be able to access Nidal Hasan’s livestreamed execution.
“I find the whole thing abhorrent … I’m not someone who supports the death penalty,” Mr Hill told News24.
“I don’t want Australians to have to view that, I don’t want them able to view it.
“I don’t know what legal powers exist to block … I don’t know how effective such things will be.”
