Hillcrest jumping castle tragedy inquest begins

A coronial inquest has opened in Devonport to examine the circumstances surrounding the deaths of six children who were killed when a jumping castle was lifted into the air at Hillcrest Primary School almost five years ago. The inquest was previously postponed while a criminal case against the owner of the business that supplied the jumping castle was heard. She was found not guilty of failing in her work and safety duty in June last year.
