‘It’s tone deaf’: October 7 anniversary is the ‘wrong day’ for pro-Palestine protests

Independent MP Allegra Spender says October 7 is “the wrong day” for Sydney’s pro-Palestinian protests.

Today marks two years since October 7, which commemorates the “single biggest loss of life since the Holocaust,” Ms Spender told Sky News Australia.

“The impact in Australia has also been profound.

“It’s tone deaf and completely culturally insensitive.”
