Jim Chalmers is facing accusations of hypocrisy after it emerged that political staffers already have access to a superannuation scheme similar to One Nation’s proposed policy. A 2017 Liberal Government measure allows eligible workers to receive 3.4% of their superannuation paid fortnightly. Pauline Hanson has criticised the Treasurer for opposing her proposal that would let all workers access up to a quarter of their future super contributions over three years.
