Canada’s immigration ‘skyrocketed’ under Trudeau

Crestview Strategy Partner Ginny Roth says immigration under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “skyrocketed” in areas that were “less beneficial” to Canada’s economy.

“In the last ten years or so, primarily under Prime Minister Trudeau, immigration just skyrocketed,” Ms Roth told News24 host Chris Kenny.

“Especially in areas that were less beneficial to the economy.

“Family reunification, people bringing in their family members who maybe weren’t able to work. But also, students … tons and tons of people came into the country.”
