Father slashed in Melbourne home invasion
A father was slashed across the face with a knife during a home invasion in Werribee, in Melbourne’s west, when two teenage boys allegedly broke into his home just before 1am. The 48-year-old confronted the alleged intruders, aged 14 and 15, while protecting his wife and seven-year-old daughter, and was allegedly attacked when the teens demanded his car keys. A neighbour intervened with a baseball bat to help police apprehend the boys, who are now in custody, while the traumatised family says they want to move away permanently. #Melbournecrime #homeinvasion #Werribee
