Sydney beaches get major shark safety upgrade | 7NEWS

The New South Wales Government is implementing a $120 million shark safety programme across Sydney beaches starting this spring. The measures include increased drone surveillance from 6am to 5pm, 97 shark nets deployed from Newcastle to Wollongong, and smart drum lines extending from the Queensland border to the Victorian border. No shark cull will be implemented as part of the safety package.
