Donald Trump orders Lake Ontario to be renamed ‘Lake America’
US President Donald Trump has confirmed his plans to rename Lake Ontario to ‘Lake America’.
Mr Trump signed an executive order requiring America’s geographic information system to rename the famous stretch of water on the US-Canada border.
His decision escalates America’s ongoing feud with its North American neighbour.
Mr Trump said his decision was impacted by Canada constantly “ripping off” the US.
